Great video !!!!!!! Do you have a list of materials!
is a metal roof preferred? im about to build walls and roof i have enough shingles and water shield
what kind of paint did you use and color also how did you paint the trees?
nice work will this withstand high winds? also do you have that ladder built to access the blind? id like to see how you did that
Your Mrs is a good woman. Hats off to her. I used T-111 on a blind once and never again. Too damn heavy.
My luck, my woman would've been like; "are you making sure you're not painting the trees upside down?" 😆.
Just subscribed! Great work! Plan on making a similar blind to take my kids out in and get them into hunting.
Thats great your wife helped. She's a keeper!!
You mentioned snow and ice. Tip: Paint your floor before you put down the carpet. Tracking snow into the blind will slowly rot the plywood. That has happened to me. Yeah it takes a while to happen, but then you don't have to cut out and replace a part of your floor. What state are you in? Got me thinking of building my own tower blind. What are those metal brackets called? $$$?
3:22 is why I never use Philips lol
Jeffbarron70 did a similar box blind but easier camo pattern. Also built different as he was alone and placed the 4×4 in the ground first then raised the floor.
We call these hotel blinds cause they are comfy compared to our lock ons.
Very nice! Enjoy and reap the benefits, of hard work.
Somebody has to take the wife out shopping, with dinner!!!
Quite a project for 2 people.
At 4:01 when the mosquito buzzes by the camera I swatted at the air by my head phones lol….
I see that you have both of the cross bracing 2×4"s on the same side of the corner posts. Did you just force the inner 2×4 inward to make it work? Mine is up and level. next step is bracing.
You totally defeated the whole purpose of using the elevator brackets
You got one hell of a woman and a hunting blind. Remember one of these is not possible without the other 😉🏹🦌
Love how he says ruf instead of roof
This is why i use 2×2 not 2×4
New subscriber here. Great job on the blind!
That's a nice wife to help carry and lift all the stuff! Kudos to her.
