Ever heard of a carpenters square they literally tell you on the back of every charger I've ever bought how far the holes are apart from each other and you don't have to waste tape and you can make sure is level before you mount it by checking your screws

Been doing this for 20 years. Works for types of applications that are similar.
Wow, I can't believe I never tried this. Some chargers come with a paper template that will help you mount it.
I use a tape measure and a pencil.
This tip makes one dumb…learn how to measure the easy things first and the harder things get easier.

This is great for home. I tried this at my business where the chargers are used around the clock by multiple people and the holes on the back of the chargers break after like 5 days and when they fall they just create problems
