after i got it up i would make it permanent. bolt 4×4 or 6×6 post in the ground and than too the blind and then build stairs.

There is a huge reason you never see these advertised on the hunting channels after all these years or even see them being used on the hunting channels. It's been 9 years since this video was made and this is the first time I've ever seen anything remotely like this. The reason? frickin dangerous to be in for one and very unstable in the wind for two.

So, I started out the other day and saw a YouTube video in my recommended. It was a chair that lifted you up in a tree using a cordless drill. It was for people disabled below the waist. Then, later, I saw one that you could pull the whole wheelchair onto and it used a motor to lift it. I'm beginning to find myself falling into a bottomless pit of videos featuring ever more elaborate powered tree stands.
