Sad day when the beaver castor is worth as much as the pelt. I agree with you about backing off this year, just doesn't make sense to add to the pile.

I've seen allot of people eat the beaver meat and use scraps for traps. Is that what you do too??

nice looking sets ,we are going to trap a good many beaver this winter , they are paying bounty for tails and the castor price will be pushing 100 bucks a pound ,ours are hatter beaver anyway south eastern section .
