I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Felix Cazoe. He is the president of the Blind Welfare Association of T&T and an excellent cook (I am waiting to try your food Mr. Felix). We spoke about the misconceptions and stereotypes created by society towards individuals who are blind or visually impaired, the correct way to approach someone who is blind, the challenges associated with the lack of public resources, and how we all can fight the stigma.
