It might be a little time intensive to get the right dimensions and shape, but I'm wondering about using actual Lego material for curtains such as the capes from mini figures or sail material from ships. I might try that on my hospital moc. Cool vid!
Okay that’s pretty cool. Never even heard of the first technique before. But all of them are pretty neat.

With my experience and vertical blinds, you will need a tile or two on the ground to show the broken blinds
