Your decisions make the difference
Strategically command a group of warriors after being entangled in a surging conflict between three nations. Key choices you make will influence the story and outcome of this grand conflict. The stunning HD-2D visual style blends 3D environments and modern effects with pixel-art characters and details.
Recruit over 20 playable characters with distinct skills. Steer your party of warriors in a tangled plot where control of the realm is at stake.
Challenge convictions
Each decision you make will bolster one of three convictions—Utility, Morality, or Liberty—which together make up Serenoa’s worldview and influence who will join you and lend their talents to your army. You can play through the game multiple times to see how other choices impact the adventure.
Strategically secure victory
Maneuver characters around multi-tiered battlefields to gain the upper hand. Use the terrain to your advantage by flanking enemies, or link elemental attacks to cause massive damage. Level up your recruits to secure new abilities and upgrades.
Position units on higher ground to gain the advantage with increased range.
Use fire to melt icy terrain, then use lightning to electrify the remaining pool of water. Push the enemy in to see sparks fly.
Flank enemies on both sides, then strike from behind for a powerful follow-up attack.
Prepare well
In between skirmishes, you can freely move about to explore battlefields and scout for advantages. Back at your encampment, you can check in with your allies, acquire items, take on mock battles, obtain quietuses, and more.
Adventure in HD-2D
The realm of Norzelia is brought to life with the stunning HD-2D visual style that blends 3D environments and modern effects with pixel-art characters and details. See it in action below.
I realize you're a way ahead now, but I think I can help clarify on why Avlora isn't keen to help. Cordelia at this point definitely does not consider Wolffort an ally. Not only does she believe Roland is dead, she believes we are the reason he's dead. From her perspective, Wolffort may as well be using Hyzante to take over Glenbrook for themselves.
Your reaction to TP Physick was pretty much how I reacted. Double Items plus ranged healing absolutely breaks the endgame, especially for keeping your mages topped up.
The deal with Hughette’s ability is that any enemy that ENDS THEIR TURN within her weapon’s range gets attacked. Since that first guy ended his turn right next to her, she couldn’t hit him. It’s definitely more useful on maps where she can fly onto a central pillar or crow’s nest.
Archibald is just the best. He’s so darn cool!
I really like this battle, it’s not just a battle of force, but also of mind (like how Frederica is trying to convince Avlora to stop fighting etc). I wonder what would happen if Lionel used his ability that steals an enemy unit on Avlora, because I feel like that would have some major ramifications on the dialog in the battle, maybe that’s even a secret way to win the battle early.
8:52–9:02 – Just imagine each character having some sort of back story to be seen. This is just my getting too into the idea but maybe some of them can have such good back stories a separate game can be made specifically for them; multiple prequels to this game to be exact. Once again, just a wild imagination of mine😅.
Yep, the stories happen if you use them more, that's why you've gotten little for Picoletta! Still so glad to see a fight I haven't done haha
