Love your ideas! I have vertical blinds over sliding glass doors. I could really use some blackout curtains but not sure how to hang them in front of the vertical blinds. I'm not allowed to remove the slats. Thinking of using the no no brackets.

Navy blue, you get a dark color but not so depressing, Halloween looking. Navy goes with white , other shades of blue
