I bought these Solar Lights from the Dollar Store ($1.25 now) almost two years ago and they have survived the snow and rain and are still going strong.
Lights run about 4-6 hours then the battery is dead….

Sadly, most items have now been changed to $1.25, so the dollar does not go so far anymore.
