It’s really weird how this castle is so empty. It’s like they designed this big area and just put 2 lions there and that’s it. I was just as confused as you Odd, when I got there. Strange because FromSoft always fill these sort of areas with interesting enemies and mini bosses. Maybe they just didn’t have the time to finish it. Oh well, at least the boss fight is fun 🙂

Considering your regenerative armor, it says "when HP is reduced" – what if it means like a permanent reduction, like a talisman which increases your damage but lowers your HP?

Chris, have you completed Raya Lucaria? I saw you killing Radagon's Red Wolf, but I don't remember seeing you fight the main boss (it's not just any boss, it's a shardbearer).
