Water TANK Hunting Blind: How to Make a Simple, Cheap & Durable Deer Blind out of a Water Tank – DIY

This hunting blind was super easy to make and will probably last forever. It’s a 1,000 gallon tank, approximately 6.5′ tall (at the peak), over 5′ in diameter and constructed of durable plastic. It is a TANK of a deer blind. The size makes it great for archery or rifle hunting. You might be able to find a water tank like this on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

  1. Paint the inside black so your silhouette doesn’t spook deer when you move. Add acrylic windows and tint them. Put some handles on the sides to lift, and some vents inside that open and close.

  2. I will give it to you, you stole the tank for that price. I would have taken my time and tried to make some cleaner cuts. Put a little more thought into it maybe. But it’s cool I guess.

  3. Well the cost of used water tanks just went up $200 😁..That would make a great ground blind without a platform for the older hunter or the dad looking to get our kids joining us on a hunt…… great idea thanks
